A Special Place for a Special Day

Set in nine acres of garden, Whitbourne Hall is a beautiful country house on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire and is a perfect venue for a wedding.

The wedding suite has a magnificent central hall, an elegant drawing room, a well proportioned dining room and a raised terrace overlooking an Italian garden. The view across the grounds is spectacular and all of this is exclusively available for your special day.

Whitbourne Hall offers a unique opportunity to design your own, bespoke wedding experience. You can choose your own caterer, florist and entertainment. You may also provide your own wine with no corkage charge!

The drawing room can seat 130 people for a formal meal, or can accommodate 250 for a buffet style celebration.

Note: We are not licensed for legal wedding ceremonies, but informal ceremonies are possible.

Wedding Ceremonies

We have chosen not to become a licensed wedding venue because of the restrictions of the style and length of the Ceremony. Instead, we encourage couples to design their own ceremony to include the music, readings and rituals they desire. This can be conducted in the Hall or in the Grounds – weather permitting! This means that the legal part of the marriage needs to be conducted at an official register office. There are several in the vicinity including Malvern (12 miles), Worcester (12 miles) and Bromyard (6 miles).

Quote – It was a beautiful ceremony, in a fantastic setting and was just what I wanted. We did not mind doing the legal bit on another day. In a way it was nice, as we did it with just two witnesses and then had a special lunch.

If you want to marry in a Church

There are a number of beautiful Churches available locally and we can advise you on this. Whitbourne and Tedstone have lovely C of E churches and Bromyard has both Catholic and C of E Churches.

Main Hall is 50ft x 40ft and Height 40ft ! Dining Room is 40ft x 30ft

Drawing Room is 40ft x 30ft plus bay window

Morning Room is 25ft x 25ft Height of all rooms 18ft 6"

Additional Car Parking for up to 100 cars is available on-site.

There is good accommodation available for your guests within a few miles of the Hall and we are able to provide details of a Coach Company who can transport them to and from their accommodation.
